It is just too easy and cliche to photograph the poverty and sadness of places like India, Africa, Pakistan, Afghanistan…too easy to photograph the downside of China, Cuba, North Korea because people are drawn/moved by the portrayal of tragedy.  But, there is a bright spot, a blessing in all of those places if one were to take a different perspective.  My prayers are to have the means to travel to these ‘Hell’ spots on Earth and capture the happier moments.
